"Andrea and I met in Northern Thailand where we were both volunteering at an international recovery community. After settling into the community Andrea realised that her therapies could potentially help the residents and volunteers work through some of their issues.
Hence, besides the usual community work of gardening, cooking and earthen building, she decided to offer therapy sessions to the community.
Quite a few of us took her up on the offer. To me the experience was special in that she somehow seemed to be able to enter into my body and perceive where emotional blockages were occurring. She clearly saw that I was unable to clear these blockages through my own resistance. As if fear was holding me back to break through the thick protection walls I had erected around myself. The sessions with Andrea helped me to expose some of my energy blockages and she worked on clearing them during the therapies. She offered me tools to work with, using visualisations, meditations and lower chakra energy exercises.
Andrea's work at the foundation went beyond individual therapy work as she led regular group meditations, where we connected to Mother Earth and the Universe and subsequently focused our energy on purifying and strengthening the community and the foundation's physical environment. To cross Andrea's path on her travels and seeing her dedicating her life's journey to helping others and our Earth has been an immense inspiration".
